With more exhibitors than ever before, with an impressive program of events, with highly satisfied visitors, with exhibitors who have already renewed their participation for 2023, as well as with new companies with a strong interest in participating, international exhibition "Verde.tec - Environmental Technologies" was completed for the 4th time.
For three days, from March 18th to 20th, 2022, the exhibition center was transformed into an innovation workshop, showcasing the most modern trends of green technologies. The response of important companies from Greece and abroad was impressive resulting the absolute coverage of the exhibition center in this year’s event.
The number of visitors exceeded all expectations, as more than 13,000 visitors had the opportunity to see and be informed about "today" and "tomorrow" of the circular economy and smart cities.
The opening of 4th Verde.tec
The exhibition’s opening took place on the evening of the first day, in the presence of Greece’s politicians and representatives from organizations that are active in the field of environment and support the exhibition under their auspices. At the opening ceremony, honorary awards were given to personalities from the field of politics and science, for their action and tireless efforts aimed at resolving environmental issues and promoting environmental awareness in Greek society.

More than 220 conference participants had the opportunity to develop and highlight every aspect of environmental cutting-edge issues. Scientists, specialized companies and institutions from the private and public sector provided answers and solutions through 32 workshops and events.
At the same time, the practices that emerged and were awarded at the Greek Green Awards were impressive. Organizations, local authorities and companies were awarded for practices, products or services they have developed, putting scientific knowledge and technological innovation in the service of the environment, with their selection being made by a specialized scientific committee.
